Most recently, Debbie spent four years as account manager with Marketing™ magazine - the foremost business publication for the advertising and promotional market. It was here Debbie realized the enormous synergies among meetings, events, corporate travel, incentive programs, corporate gift and reward merchandise.

She’s been the managing editor at Glow and Today’s Parent and her articles have appeared in Chatelaine, Best Health, Cottage Life, Fresh Juice and Professionally Speaking. As a writer and editor, her passion is telling informative, entertaining stories that connect to the interests and concerns of her readers.

Melaya is an active member of SITE, serving on both national and international committees of SITE as a Young Leader.

Sandra's insight about our industry was honed as the former director of content for Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine, where she was responsible for editorial direction and education at the IncentiveWorks show. Her 15+ years in the publishing industry included editorial management positions at Food in Canada and Corporate Meetings & Events. Sandra serves on the SITE Canada board as a director, chapter meetings.
